Textify Director

Location: Remote. Preference for Eastern Standard Time schedule (based in Washington, D.C. is a plus, but not required)

We are in search of a Textify Director who will be instrumental in advancing our mission by providing expert data management and strategic insights to our nonprofit clients, facilitating informed decision-making and impactful results. This is a full-time role with some weekend work, particularly November through December.

Responsibilities

As a Textify Director, you will work closely with our client teams overseeing day-to-day texting production and reporting, and you will be expected to deliver high-quality results across all aspects of our texting program, which includes:

• Data and Analysis

• Develop and maintain sophisticated automated dashboards in Google Sheets, tailored to the unique needs of nonprofit organizations.

• Perform comprehensive data reporting and analysis, utilizing advanced techniques such as pivot tables for in-depth data manipulation.

• Expertly handle data segmentation to provide targeted insights that align with the goals and challenges specific to nonprofit clients.

• Regularly assess performance metrics over time, translating data into strategic recommendations to enhance nonprofit effectiveness and impact.

• Collaborate closely with data vendors to ensure seamless integration and optimization of data sources tailored to the nonprofit sector.

• Lead strategic projects based on analytical findings, offering innovative solutions to meet the evolving demands of nonprofit clients.

• Staff and Account Management

• Lead a team of individual contributors with a focus on serving nonprofit clients. Give frequent constructive criticism and provide guidance when consulted on team client issues.

• Oversee client relationship management, including conducting regular client calls, managing budgets, and ensuring exceptional communication and service delivery.

• Foster long-term partnerships with nonprofit clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored data-driven strategies.

Required Skills

To excel in the Textify Director role, candidates will bring to the table:

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates who have previously worked in technology roles serving nonprofit organizations.

• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet skills, especially in Google Sheets, with a demonstrated ability to develop automated, client-specific reporting tools.

• Extensive data segmentation experience, focusing on applying these skills to address nonprofit sector challenges.

• High emotional intelligence, with exemplary communication skills for managing diverse teams and building strong relationships with nonprofit clients.

• Strong organizational and quantitative skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the proven ability to create processes and systems that ensure the work is scalable and mistake-free. 

Preferred Skills

We will look favorably on candidates who have experience with any of the following:

• Texting and/or email content strategy

• Texting tools like Hustle, ThruText, Spoke, or Tatango 

• Political data services such as L2, Catalist, TargetSmart, Aristotle, or PDI

• Non-profit development culture

Location

Remote, preference for Eastern Standard Time schedule (based in Washington, D.C. is a plus, but not required).  Candidate must reside in and work from one of the following states: California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Montana, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Virginia, Washington.

Salary & Benefits

The minimum salary expectation for this role is $100,000. Exact title and salary to be determined based on experience.
